It just takes one person to operate the entire business out of a single TAR system.  The same person places seeds, harvests, replaces nutrient solution, packages the end product, manages shipments and markets.  On an average, a person spends about 2 to 3 hours/day on the system.  If you are setting up TAR in one of the rooms of your house, it is a healthy and viable part time business. You can do it yourself or easily delegate it.

Once a week, run a maintenance check operation (4hrs) wherein sprinklers are checked/cleaned/replaced, the EC and pH values are checked, and nutrient solutions replaced.  There is no heavy lifting involved, even a person with a small stature can comfortably operate TAR.
