What to grow: In principle, plants reasonably small in size (less than 7 inch height, or plants that can be pruned to that height) will grow well. Most greens and herbs fit this category. Plants can either be pruned or harvested early in the compact stage, they will come back again for another harvest.
In addition to greens, French beans have grown successfully. You can also try out strawberries and saffron.
